Birth Look-up Jersey 1864-5

Would it be possible to check a birth record for Ellen DAVIES - listed on 1871 census as age 6 born Jersey, Channel Islands.
Father James Davies (Tailor) & mother May Ann ( I believe Burford nee Cross)
I am trying to trace Mary Ann who disappeared before 1881. Ellen may have been registered as Burford or Cross.
Any help appreciated,

I've looked through the birth indexes for an Ellen Davies, Burford or Cross.

The only one I can find is Ellen Mary Burford in the St Helier volume 9th Dec 1863 - 6th Jan 1885 on page 72.

Thank you very much Stewart for that info. I think it confirms that Mary Ann Burford had left her hubby & was living as wife to James Davies.
