I am going to list them in the order they come up on Ancestry. They are all going to NY unless otherwise stated:
03 Nov 1919 aboard the Tivives from Limon, Costa Rica. He is listed as printer in the employ of the ship. His height is 5 feet 7 inches. Now it all comes together. He is working for the shipping line.
31 July 1922 aboard the Santa Elisa from Callao, Peru. Listed as a storekeeper for the ship. His height is 5 feet 7 inches.
01 Dec 1919 aboard the Tivives from Cristobal, Canal Zone (Panama). Listed as a printer for the ship. His height is 5 feet 7 inches.
08 June 1922 aboard the Vandyck. It doesn't say where it is coming from. He is listed as an asst. cook for the ship. His name is actually crossed of this passenger list, but he is indexed.
11 April 1922 aboard the Vandyck from Brazil. He is listed as an asst cook in the employ of the ship.
27 Sept 1919 aboard the Abangarez from Havana and Port Limon Costa Rica. His is listed as an asst. steward and he is said to be discharged and not paid on arrival. His wages were $60.
I have gone back to look at the others regarding the paid off or discharged. So far they all say "Yes" and I don't know which that means. The Brazile one (11 April) have a bunch that say "No" and a bunch that say "Yes" with William being a yes, but is that yes to discharge or yes to pay?
Back to the passenger lists:
03 Oct 1919 aboard the Tivive. There is no place coming from, but it landed in NY. It says he signed on at this port. I am not sure if that is NY or wherever they are coming from.
26 Jan 1923 aboard the President Roosevelt coming from Bremerhaven, Germany. He is listed as a wiper. Handwritten in his entry is that he was carried on as a worker (I think) and that I think he joined in Germany on 17 January. He is to be paid off, as is all the staff. Another entry for this same voyage lists his wages as $50.
31 Jan 1922 on the Vandyck from Liverpool, no info listed though.
26 May 1920 aboard the Servian Prince. He is a Message room steward and has no outstanding physical traits. He signed on 5 May.
And that is it. Phew.
