I am looking for any information about the death of Rebecca Bright (formerly Rebecca Prime/Pryme) b. 1843/45 Barley, Herts  d. July/Aug/Sept 1878 Huntingdon (Needingworth or St Ives).  I would like a confirmation on date of death, where she was buried???, anything plez...  She maybe of Baptist faith.
Spouse:  William Bright b. 1846 St Ives.  They lived in Needingworth at time of her passing. Thank you for your time.

Holywell cum Needingworth burials are on the NBI up to 1900 and she wasn't buried in the parish church there, although if she was baptist she may have been buried elsewhere.

As you have the GRO reference the simplest way is to purchase the death certificate, which is the only way you will get her date of death. You can order certificates online from the GRO

David,
Thank you so much for your information.  Could you help me with what & where is the NBI and the GRO to order a death certificate from?  I am not that familiar with those abbreviations.  I'm sure once you tell me it will ring a bell.
I am very thankful for your time you give up doing this for people. You have helped me before with great important information.
Thank you,
Lindajae

Hi Lindajae

The NBI (National Burial Index) is a commercial CDrom set of burials in England & Wales, the coverage on which varies from county to county, but they are all extracted from parish registers so are reliable. Details can be found at
http://www.ffhs.org.uk/projects/nbi/nbi-overview.php

The GRO is the General Register Office which holds transcripts of all birth death and marriage certificates registered since the start of civil registration in 1837. You can order online at
http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/#0

If you have the reference, which you have, the cost is £7 per certificate, and you can pay by credit card. If you found her burial in the Sept quarter 1878 then you found that in the GRO index!

Regards

David
