Flitwick Look Up - Amy FOWLER b. 1845

Hi,
 I am trying to trace the parents of Amy Fowler born 1845 in Flitwick, Beds. The problem I have the is a lot of Fowlers around that time and area. What I am looking for is the parents of Amy Fowler.

 Later on Amy married one William Beal(e) of Flitwick and they live at 69 Gravelpit Road Flitwick (1891 census).

Any help anyone?

The best place to start is her marriage certificate, from which you will get her father's name.

I cannot see an Amy Fowler born Flitwick in 1845 in the 1851 census, nor is there one on the IGI (Flitwick baptisms have been extracted for this period) - although there is an Amy baptised July 1851. How sure are you about 1845?

The same family is in 1861 where there is a 16 year old Eamy, which looks to be right one

I think the 1851 baptism is her - they baptised 3 children on the same day, so I imagine Amy must have been 6 at the time

I wonder if Ann registered June quarter 1845 might be her - I can't see an Ann b 1845 in 1851

Hi,
I have gone back and looked at my records and I think she may have had 2 siblings Daniel b.1848 and Emily b.1864. As for Amy's dob. I am not 100% sure of the date.
