This baby was born on June 14th1895 in Ayr. She was illegitimate. Baptised 25.6.1895. Not with mother, who married june1896 also Ayr, on the 1901 census. Anyway of finding-out her whereabouts after her birth?

Not sure if this one is yours but I have found a death cert on Scotland's People for a Thomasina Clines Mother Sarah. She died at 5 weeks old on 21/7/1895 at 83 Mains St, Newton, Ayr. She was illegitimate.

This would seem to fit with your date of birth.

Really sorry to be bearer of bad news if this is the right one.

 Yes, this is definately her. She was my Great Grandmother's first child. We didn't know about her until I found Thomasina's prayer book, obviously given to her when she was baptised,in some paper's that my father had put away.
