laptops in record office COMPLETED
« on: Wednesday 04 July 07 22:50 BST (UK) »
Planning to visit Derbyshire Record Office and suprised to read that laptops can be taken into the record office. Is this usual ? I was wondering how I would be able to take my ancestors details with me. I can now take my genealogy software with me. Great news

I think laptops are allowed because they're quiet!
Godden in East Sussex, mainly Hastings area.
Richards in Lea, Gloucestershire, then London.
Williamson in Leith, Vickers in Nottingham.
Webb in Bildeston and Colchester.
Wesbroom in Kirby le Soken.
Ellington in Harwich.
Park, Palmer, Segar and Peartree in Kersey.

Not when the kids have been playing on it  ??? ???  they always leave the volume turned up.

I must remember to put it on mute. ::) ::) ::)

First visit I am sure it will be fun.
