Yes Sue I agree with you. 

I have found lots of errors in the few family members I have found there..... and unfortunately some of them have been copied from a website about my family but not written by a family member......and the author will not correct the errors or assumptions.

Such is life.

I had looked at Rootsweb and Ancestory and found two different submitters with differing spouses etc. with josiah Oakely

You are right Cando about family members not beleiving each other.  I found what I thought was a ggm maiden name but a second cousin said I was wrong  BUT the death certificate revealed I was right he just won't have it  even though I sent him a copy of the death certificate, maintains his version is correct.!!

Hi all

Having another look at the disks there are two Josiah's and naturally with different wives and have also had a look at BISA - the family is detailed there as well - lots of OAKLEY's.

Jenn the problem with Peers family  website is the author is not remotely connected to the family - is a 'friend' of a relly - the relly wrote in an email to me that genealogy is not one her interests.  Two other family researchers in UK have contacted the author but to date there has been no response or corrections to the site.
