Any idea when she was born?
The only Catharine Armstrong b.Co.Meath (23 Aug.1873) is a daughter of James Armstrong & Anne Hogg. IGI lists 4 other children: Anne (1865), Mary (1867), Bridget (1869), John (1871). Birthplace for Anne & Mary is given as Ratoath district, Co. Meath.

Hiya Mary,

There are 23 Armstrongs listed in Griffiths Valuation for Meath in 1855.

There are loads of Armstrongs still in Meath. I knew several around Kells: the family are Auctioneers in the town and used to live in a smart house just outside.

Welcome to RootsChat, Bruno the labrador.

Mary www.eircomphonebook.ie might get you a few useful addresses. You could write to a few of the Armstrongs in Meath. You never know ... you might find a living relative. Mention RootsChat if you do
send them letters. It's a good way to spread the word 8)

Christopher.

Hi -
Plenty of Armstrongs in Co. Meath area, still.   Armstrongs Solicitors in Kells, for generations : some still around. Some in surrounding counties, too.
