HANLEY/HANDLEY Of Wexford

Hi I'm looking for any information on the Hanley or Handley families of Wexford possibly Adamstown - Ive just started to trace my daughters fathers tree and I know very little about them all i do know was that there were several brothers & sisters Bridie would have now been in here late 90s and her brother Patrick who moved to England died in the 1980s- I know this is very vague but this is my starting point !! help if you are or know a Hanley ( or Handley ) then please feel free to send me a p.m

I know of a patrick hanley who died in 1987 in leek ,his father was Richard .
Richard was born 1910 in Glyn Co Wexford ,& he had a sister Bride ( bridget ).
John Patrick married Sandra Moss.

Hi I have just checked my information and Richard and Bridget had a brother Patrick,
and one other I know of Martyn  .
My Bridget is 93 and lives in Adamstown,Ennorscosey?

Yes that sounds like my daughters tree -  Patrick (aka Paddy ) Hanley married a Mary ? not sure though if the marriage was in Leek or Ireland Patrick Hanley was my ex- husbands grandfather - I know of three children that Patrick and Mary had Winnie, Charles Anthony (aka Tony) and one other male I cant remember his name Tony was my ex- father in law he had two children Paul Anthony ( my ex-husband )and Steven (Charles?) his brother
can anyone recommend any bmd web sites for this area of Ireland ?

p.s It seems weird that John Patrick Hanley married a Sandra Moss
My ex husband was Paul Anthony Hanley and I am Jennifer Elizabeth Moss !!!!

By what you have said it looks like we are relatied ,
Mary was my fathers sister tony (charles ) is my cousin along with ,
Lawrance in OZ ,Mick ,Winnie (in leek) andEtty I think in Leeds
Tony married Christine Pass .

Yes it certainly does sound like we are  related  - although I was only a Hanley by marriage - Ive not seen Tony for many years he and Christine divorced years ago I think he lives in Cheshire now he only saw his grandaughter ( my and Pauls daughter ) Zoe a few times. Have you had much luck tracing the family back in Ireland ?
