It looks like between 1881 and 1891 they moved house, (different address in 1891)  it could be she died out of the Dinas area around 1900  they moved back before census, could be she is buried in Cymmer?

Sorry Felix is on 1891 RG12/4417/84/15

17 Vaughn St , Gelliwion, Pontypridd

Edwin Ball, 45, hd, m, coal miner, Som Winford
Mary " wife, 43, Mon, Trevellyn
William " son, 15, coal miner, Dinas
Romah, dau, 11, dinas
Felix "  9, son Dinas
Annie ", dau, 8 Dinas
Job " son, 6, Dinas
Mary A Jones 29, boarder, wid Mon blackwood
John Jones 9 boarder, Risca

Cymmer burial site is not there anymore, made way for new bypass, have a list of burials there somewhere, will check, if i find anything will post.  Doubt it though, as most burials there are were very old.

You could ask for a look up in Glyntaff cem, I do not have that, but Cardiff (rootschat member) does.

Update: checked the Cymmer info no Mary Ball or any other Balls lol.

Hi Cas

Thanks for the 1891 with Felix and also another child I did not have Job.  My Great Grandmother is Annie.

I took a drive up to the Cem, couldnt wait. lol it is huge, was there two hours, found the plots but not the Graves, the numbering is not that good. but saw the monumental mason whom was leaving his work next door, and said if i call back tomo he will copy me a map of the cem...not sure if any have headstones, i dont think so as had a good look.  I would I contact the cardiif RootsChat member for a look up in glyntaff?

Thanks for your help cas

Kind Regards

Russell :)

Under 'Glam look up offers' Cardiff has posted the she will look up Glyntaff Cem, but asks to post a thread on the request board.

If you post on the request board others may see it if Cardiff is away etc, and reply.

Thought it might be of interest to you. The Annie Ball who you have been researching is a sister of my Grandmother Rose Hannah Ball ( who they made a mistake in the spelling of on the census ) she was 11 in 1891. Mary who was Edwins wife was born in Trevethin Mamhilad Monmouthshire in 1848 and died October 2nd 1900 in Dinas Rhondda. My grandmother is also buried in trealaw cem, but although i have the burial plot number i have still yet to find the grave.
