can anyone help?

i obtained this cert yesterday and i am finding it difficult to decipher can anyone help me get a bit more info from it?
the cert is for the marriage of robert millar and agnes johnstone
roast-west ham,essex
kewin-isle of man,barrow in furness
cumberbatch-barrow in furness
brown-isle of man,barrow in furness
paterson-dumfries
Park-cumbria
Paisley-cumbria

Not an easy one, is it.
All I can make out is
Thirteenth May

Groom looks as though he was a widower, the bride a spinster

Groom's father George Miller, mother Henrietta Miller

Bride's father and mother are deceased....

I'm sure someone who knows the area will be able to put together the place names.

thats kind of what i thought the place looks like mally ville but i have never heard of it before.all the info i really wanted off this cert is unreadable how frustrating. hopefully somebody will be able to help me.thanks anyway paula

Your cert. reads as something like this: follows:

Married 13th May, 1890 @  ------  Villa, Dumfries.

Robert Millar, Railway Surfaceman.  (Widower)  29 years.
Usual Res: Collin, Torthorwald.
Father: George Millar,  --- Lab. (labourer not sure what kind.)
Mother:  Henrietta Millar, m.s. Maxwell.
Agnes Jane Johnstone. Domestic Servant. (Spinster) 28 years.
Usual Res:  -------, Greenbrae.
Father:  William Johnstone, Railway Surfaceman. (deceased)
Mother: Jane Johnstone m.s. Paterson. (deceased).

 the date looks like  30th  May  to me,  and  Mary  Villa  the place  ....

Sorry, now I look at the cert. again the date reads 30th  May which will be correct as it was registered on 2nd June.
Brown, Murray, Copland, McGinely, Walker, Scott Telford, McKinnell, Crosbie, Kirkpatrick.

i thought it may be 30th may.but have you ever heard of a place caled mary villa?would it be a village or hamlet?could you get married at home in scotland as long as there was a minister present?perhaps it was the name of a house?
