there's a house called Glanaber in Trellan, Clocaenog - next to the rectory with a Jones family living there in 1881, but headed by Robert RG11/5524 folio 22 pg 7.
But that doesn't account for the letters after the bit that looks like Glanaber.

possibly a better match?
1891 Hendre Glanaber--, Clocaenog RG12/4623 folio 21 pg 14
John Jones 22 farm servant b. Gyffylliog
in the household of Robert Roberts
At least I think it says farm servant, the writing isn't clear.

Hi Poli

1891. There is a James Jones aged 23 farm labourer living at 167 Mwrog St. Llanfwrog with parents Morris 79 Farmer born Llangwm Merioneth and Elizabeth 60 born Llanelidan Denbighshire with siblings John 28 , and William 19 both born Llanfwrog and farm labourers.
I know Mwrog St and it is all numbered in 1891 and unlikely to have a farm so the family most likely worked a small distance away. Mwrog St leads from Ruthin to Llanfwrog.
Are the ages and father's occupation ok?

Peter
Jones, Edwards, Davies, Owen, Benjamin , Hughes , Roberts,Thomas,Williams, Wynne , Griffiths, Howells, Rowlands etc etc
plus
Thomas,Trewren,Holmes,Thirlwall,Jones again & again
& more

Hi Peter i made an enlargement but Roots wouldn't let me load it , not the right type?? will try again.

The age you have for James is right, he was born in 1869 and i know his parents were Morris & Elizabeth, haven't anything on his siblings yet but one of the witnesses on the cert is  John Jones so what you have found seems quite possible.

Hi Osprey, will look at your info, thanks.  Poli.

Yes Peter that's Margare's family. The John in your list is my grandfather.

I've had Margaret & husband James Jones marriage cert for a while and today i was adding info from all my certs onto my Family Tree Maker programme, it was then that i realised that i couldn't read their marriage cert clearly.

James address at time of marriage is very unclear indeed. Poli.
