what iI have of my grandfather is his medal card It reads Seragent michael fitzgerald royal Irish regiment 5915 /Private M fitzgerald royal fusiliers140437 it seem he was in two regiments we then have the medals record or roes he was awarded despatched8/6/1920 but were returned4/2/1925 I dont understand why this came about most of records were lost duning ww2 that all the informaion we have but I will keep looking and hope to find out whare he died thank s for all your help
