Mike from Leicester is a star!

Hello there back in 2006 Mike from Leicester gave me lots of valuable in formation concerning my father's accidental death.
I have now acquired a copy of the death certificate and I have to say I am amazed at the amount of information. It gives his name, address, date of birth, occupation and marital status.Not only does it state the cause and time of death but also says where, when and how it occurred even naming the road and the nearby public house. The column was filled right to the bottom of the page with information! This proves that it is worthwhile getting the certificate if you know the date of the death.
I have also been able to locate where my dad's ashes were placed.
Next week I am travelling to Leicester to visit the site of the accident which took place 47 years ago.
I want to say a big big thank you to Mike for all his help and advice on the subject. Without him I doubt I would have got as far as I have. I am very grateful for all the time and effort put in on my behalf.

I agree with you, Mike has been very kind and helpful to me too on a few occasions.

Whatever your problem, Mike seems to have the answer, and he's broken down a couple of brick walls for me !

I have to agree with you all, Mike is always helping people not only on this site but on others too. He gives up his time to go to the archives to search our elusive ansestors out.

Mike for knighthood,he has helped me quite a few times when I was stuck,he even went to the trouble of researching down at Wigston Records Office!!!!
