These are the only RUMNEYS in Aldenham in 1861. Addresses in country areas are a bit sparse and in this case, all that is given is "Round Bush" Aldenham. There is a pub in the village called the Round Bush, but areas around a local landmark often took the landmark's name and this family is definitely not living at the pub. (Not unless half the village lived there!)

Wife's Father: William EDMUNDSWheathampstead is very close to Sandridge where Anna/Hannah was born. The marriage date would also fit with the birth of the eldest son William. I couldn't find a baptism for Joseph Senior but I did find the following baptisms for the children of Joseph and Hannah. All at Aldenham.
