Jones family in Kings Pyon, early 1800s
« on: Friday 13 July 07 13:24 BST (UK) »
Hi. I'm not able to get to the Leominster record office right now and am wondering if anybody may know more about my ggg grandfather Samuel Jones, born in Kings Pyon in 1809.

He married Ann Pugh in around 1834 and they had a son George in Worcester in 1835.

I've not found them with any certainty in the 1841 census, although there is a family in Dynidor which fits in a fashion. In 1851 they are in Aston, Birmingham, and then in 1861 in St Lukes, London.

An entry on IGI suggests that Samuel's parents may have been John and Mary Jones, but I've not been able to establish this for sure at the moment.

Just wondering if anybody happens to be researching this Jones family or knows of them.

Regards,

Mark
