Abercarn(e) 1708
« on: Saturday 14 July 07 01:32 BST (UK) »
Could anyone please tell me what district was covered by the Court of the Manor of Abercarne in 1708. Also has anyone come across properties called Tir-y-Gantre and Gwaun-y-pound in the parish of Bedwellty? At this time could the River Ebbw have been called Eboyth? Thanks in anticipation for any clues!

"EDO, have a look at my message on the Monmouthshire Board. The document I'm querying (1708) mentions a Thomas Edmond. To see the document google Bedwellty. I think it's on page 2.'I found it while looking for something else and went off on a tangent (as you do!)"

Thank you for that.
