Baptism - Susan GARWOOD - 1781 - Stradishall area

Good morning
I'm gradually finding more about my 3x great grandmother.  But I'm stuck again.  I've found her marriage in Whepstead and her death in Wickhambrook but can't find her birth anywhere.  Someone has already checked both Whepstead and Wickhambrook 1776-1786 with no luck.  I've found her husband, John Metcalf, was baptised in Stradishall so now I'm wondering if she was from the same area.
All I know is SUSAN GARWOOD aged 75 when she died in 1856 so makes birth around 1781. (probably)  I can't find her on 1851 census to get any further information

This may not be your Susan, but just in case ...

There is a Susan Garwood on the 1851 census, aged 72 (b.1779?) and living with her daughter and son-in-law in Brockley, another village which looks to be in the same area as Wickhambrook, Whepstead and Stradishall.
Was she a widow in 1851?
I can't decipher her marital status but her husband is not at this address.
This Susan is listed as Mother-in-law, a pauper, and blind 
She is shown as being born Brockley as are all other members of the household.
Her daugher is Mary Wheeler, aged 44.

Have spotted my own deliberate mistake!! 

I take it Susan Garwood is the maiden name and in 1851 she'd be Susan Metcalf?
