looks like to only clue that I may or may not get will be on the birth cert.

Just to let you know I have ordered the birth cert today  for Mary Elizabeth . also I spoke to Wilf last night and you maybe right Tatii with the information on Annie Lousie Rogers you gave me, Wilf say his  cousin was called Anne Lousia

will get  her cert later on as i have ordered my lot for this month.

I received the birth cert for Mary Elizabeth.  this morning no mention of a time. the birth was registered by her mother. 

I phoned Wilf this morning to let him no what the cert says He still  says that  his mother was a twin  not sure what to do now as I have as i have no prof or idea how to get it

only thing i can think off is may be  is one of the other children was a twin  or the baby was still born  and so the mother  didn't mention  a time it to the register.

oh well some good did come out of getting the birth cert, I found out the middle name for the father  and the street where Mary Elizabeth was born  so it was not all bad news

Annie wasn't on the 1901 census. Father and all children were born in Jarrow. There's a possible birth

Annie Louisa Rogers March 1904 South Shields 10a 927 ...

Hi Liz just thought I would let you know you where on the right track with  Annie Louisa Rogers
I found the birth  at my my local archives yesterday  in the baptisms records
it was only her baptism so i crossed her off as been a twin. I dont know if you notice in a later post by me that i have since relived  the birth cert of Mary Elizabeth  no clues there I am afraid.
