Omeath - COMPLETED
« on: Monday 16 July 07 21:46 BST (UK) »
Hello,

I'm new to tracing my Irish ancestors, I'm looking for Mary Ann Fearon from Omeath I believe, who married James McManus in the mid 1860's.  James was born in Ireland but I don't know where and I can't find a marriage reference in Liverpool so they may have married in Ireland.

Am I right in thinking that Omeath is in Cavan, if not could some kind person point me in the right direction.

Thanks

Jan

Adrian,

Thanks for putting me right, I'll check out the Louth websites now for Mary Ann.   I know that her future son-in-law also a Fearon came from Mountbagnall which I believe is also in Co. Louth, Dundalk I believe.

Cheers

Jan
