 It is also St Mary's where Dorothy married Samuel Overton so worth looking for a marriage of William to Dorothy as well...

  There are other baptisms at Stoke Golding Leics for a William Webb & Dorothy between 1819 &1825. Both places are close so could be same couple.

and the Sarah in 1851 was born c1830, before the marriage to Overton ....

Thanks so much.  This is really exciting !!   At last you've answered some thoughts I had about Dorothy Overton,  she had been married before.
So John had a sister Mary, do you know if he had other siblings at all ?
Do you reckon that John and Phoebe were the parents of William and Thomas then ?

 IGI has William Webb bap 29 Nov 1843 St George Leicester

                                            Father John  Mother Phoebe

 His birth could be the one in Leicester Q4 1843 vol  15 page 91.
 The cert will give parents. John & Phoebe married in Hinckley 1839 Q3 so again the cert will prove his father.

    Other children in Leicestershire to William Webb & Dorothy are in Stoke Golding which is very near so it is possible as I said before that this is our couple.....

    Elizabeth 1819   04 July  died 13 May 1821
    Elizabeth 1821 18 June
    Ann         1823 09 June
    Louisa     1825 19 June.

Hi, it's me again,

I've found a Phoebe Brown, baptized 28.5.1817 St Marys, Hinckley, the daughter of Thomas and Mary Brown.
Does anyone agree with me that she may be the one I'm looking for who married John Webb ?
(I'm impatient ! I can't wait for the certs to come !!)
