yes i knew that about Ellen, its her parents i cannot find, do you mean there might be a clue on the marriage cert? i have a copy of that and there are no clues a john and mary williams were witnesses, as far as i know her sister was May not mary. Its so frustrating!!!!!

I have found Skinner Street on the 1871 census.  The enumerater has entered that No 2 is 'To Let'.

So your HUNT family had moved on - but to where?

On the 1871 census Living at Worthington, Leicestershire is a Henry HUNT aged 31 a navey (navvy?)with his wife Elzabeth aged 24 and 2 children Mary aged 5 and Helen aged 1.  Helen was born in Chatham , the others in Brookhouse, Cornwall.

there is no address on marriage certificate, just Pentyrch, Glamorgan, for Ellen and George. This sounds very promising bearcat,  i have just spoken to elderly aunt and she says Mary was older than Ellen (i wonder if the enumerator misheard Ellen??) and in between them was Sarah Ann the one that died at 22 months(born in 1868) , the next in line was Hannah, not sure about cornwall but then we don't know where Elizabeth was born or Henry.
I hope it is them, many thanks to everyone for all their help so far it is much appreciated!!

Henry, Elizabeth & Mary all have Cornwall, Brookhouse/Brookhorne as their place of birth.  I've looked at Genuki but can't see any possible parishes.  It's not easy to read -I'm open to suggestions.
