Hi Lones!

You have done well! This would have to be him. I can't imagine 2 Charles Wright's dying/buried with 2 days of each other in the same area, despite Wright being a reasonably common name. Haha @ his burial was the cause of death. There must have been a mistake on his death certificate re: dates of death & burial.

Thanks so much for looking this info up for me!

I think, by the above that your Charles was buried in the Maldon Cemetery.  The only discrepency is that he was buried one day before he died (could be the cause of death  ;)).

Lones  :)

Genealogists definitely have a good sense of humour  ;D  ;D

Looks like a very good find Lones

I had to laugh when Lones posted that  ;D

You have to have a sense of humour when searching for dead people as well!

This is just a random thought and I may be completely wrong, but I had a similar situation in my tree where two Joseph Holoryde Seeds (one registered Holoryde Seeds one Olroyd, but you know, the times, illiteracy etc) with different parents were born in the same area within a few days of each other in the same year. Birth's probably a lot different to death - but after lots of research it turned out the two were cousins.

Just wondering if Charles Wright went over to Australia with any other family or met any family members there...?

Random thought. :)

Nice thought Scott but Charles migrated alone in 1853 from England. I've tried finding him on 1851 & 1841 England census but the closest is a Charles Wright who had been married before, where on "my" Charles marriage certificate, he lists his maritul status as Bachelor.

Genealogy would be a bore without a few ancestors with their different quirks etc  :P

Mike. (Awww thanks Jenn re: I'm a  nice bloke  ;) It's amazing how different someone can come across in text! Haha  ;D Just kidding.
