1911 Gilford Census lookup request-Wright
« on: Friday 20 July 07 09:25 BST (UK) »
I would like to trace my great aunt Esther McBurney. Her married name was Wright and she may be the Essie Wright who signed the Ulster Covenant in 1912 and was living in High Street, Gilford, Co Down. Thomas Wright was also living in High Street in the same document. Was that her husband? She had 3 children Peggy (who was childless), Tommy (who was also childless) and Billy (William John Wright) born about 1905. He studied at Portadown Tech became an Electrical Engineer for the Electricity Board in N. Ireland and married Lena Waters. They had 2 children XXXX and XXXX.

Can anyone add any extra information?
Thanks
David Wright  :)

Otto, that was great getting the marriage confirmed, but do you think thedetails are a shortened version or perhaps it is the state version but the church version might include witnesses and other information. Good luck onwards, as one gets closer, Jim

Details are confirmed from     www.emeraldancestors.com
Ordering Certificate or looking it up at PRONI or LDS in Belfast should confirm a lot more details.
