Smith family Deal Kent Please
« on: Saturday 21 July 07 12:49 BST (UK) »
Hi there,
Iam  trying to find the birth/christening of Ann J Smith born about 1817 in Deal Kent and the names of  her parents.  Also the date of her marriage to Thomas William Baker. It is probably about 1841 and in Deal.  Their first child was born in 1842.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thank you kindly
Regards
Mariac

Hi Geoff
Yes I had that as a possible one but I dont know where the Frost bit comes in. Unless Ann was married before.?? Or I guess her mothers name could be Frost???
Thanks for your help

If it helps, that 1842 marriage appears to have taken place in the parish church of St Leonard's, Deal - at least I think that is the church for ref. D16 (current Thanet & Dover district) on the Kent Registration Services site http://extranet3.kent.gov.uk/sp/rois/marriagesearch.cfm
