I am very new to this.  I am searching for any records of Elizabeth Morrison, whose family I believe was from Dundee. Married to a Robert Conway. Their daughter Hope Morrison Conway was born in Dundee 1915. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm just adding a link to the Fife board with your other posting for Robert Conway info to avoid duplication of answers. As with Robert, if you can include Elizabeth's parents' names from the 1906 marriage cert., people will find it easier to find information for you. Also Elizabeth's approximate birth year would help.

Unfortunately I have very little information on Elizabeth Morrison. As our family moved to Canada in the 60's I have been unable to find any type of documents. I do know that Elizabeth's parents owned an antique shop in Dundee and I believe her father died around 1915 and her mother around 1919.  She had a sister who died at a very young age.  Elizabeth married Robert F. Conway on Aug. 29 1906 in Dundee Scotland.
I greatly appreciated all your help.

I think Elizabeth Morrison was born around 1885.

Can you maybe tell us what you are actually trying to find out.  I thought you were looking for the marriage of Elizabeth Morrison and Robert Conway so I went onto Scotland People and paid to find it for you, only to discover you already had this information.

What are you trying to find out about is it Elizabeth Morrison's birth??  If not maybe you can let us know.

Sorry Elizabeth, I just found out the information of their marriage yesterday.  I was hoping to find out about Elizabeth Morrison's birth and about who her parents, grandparents and family was.

Hi Julie,

No problem Julie, if you have the information on the marriage, do you have Elizabeth's age when she married this would be easier to find her birth then, and her parents names which would be on the certificate details you found on Scotlands People.

If you know the parents names and her age them maybe we can find Elizabeth's birth.
