Stifford and Orsett lookups

If anyone has access to parish records for Stifford, Essex, I'm looking for pre-1837 information.

Thomas Partridge of Stifford was listed as a bankrupt in the Daily Universal Register in 1785/6. His son Thomas junior was a Carpenter and shopkeeper in Stifford/South Ockendon. His other son Robert was a builder who also ran the 'Orsett Cock' pub.

I have Robert's 1840 burial certificate but would be most grateful for any other BMD info for them, as I have failed to find their origins.

I live a stones throw from the Orsett Cock and i even worked in there for all my sins.

There is also another site which has a big list of people willing to do look ups for free, and there is some ladylisting she has the Stifford info.

Just a suggestion
I'd also ask for her to look at the Chadwell BMD too as it's very near to the Orsett Cock and she also has those available so it's worth her giving it a check for you.

Thanks Kath, I'll give her a try. I'm still finding my way around RootsChat . . . there's such a lot of it 

My family were landlords at the Cock for over 50 years up to around 1870.
