the one at Donavans yard id the family of Henry which we think are cousins they were living together in the 1901 census I have follow Henry forward and spoken to descendants. It Leonard  parents we just cant get any leads to confirm info is true

it isnt proving easy over here either! cant seem to get a result at the moment.

If the address is right for Leonards birth, and his father is named alternatively as William and James, I would suspect a name change and as I said, not uncommon. Shame I cant seem to get a lead on William/James though grrr

census 1891 leonard c williams   if you look up Rose gurry   and then census 1881  James 1835  you find cawday st  one son Edwin is there and still there in1891 .  cenus 1871 he is down as Wm Williams
its just so difficult as they were all ducking and diving all the time to make a living

I have been trying to find his parents,  have looked into Gurney  there was a Richard williams married  to a elizabeth gurney his grandfather was called richard could he have called himself that name.  millers side know all them OK I know romany .
