No birth marriage or death certificates were issued before 1837, before then the records are only in the Church registers which are usually held in County Record Offices and most of which have been transcribed onto the IGI.

It is unlikely that any further details will be on the entry except for the names of the Minister and the witnesses

To find William's place of birth i would suggest that you look on the 1851 Census where he and Martha were still in Brimfield

at a guess james james could be the brother of ann lawrence (maiden name james)

Hi,  OOPS!!! I should have realised that, I got carried away with  the information I recieved and I posted without thinking it through correctly,  Sorry,
   Thanks for all the help,  I have found James James (farmer) with a couple of the daughters on '61 census. William and Ann no trace I am now checking deaths.

In 1851 I can only see Esther,  Angelina and Suzanna on the Census in Kingsland.
There is a death for a William Lawrence in Kingsland in 1845, and an Ann Lawrence in 1847. To make sure these are the ones you want you would have to get the Death Certificates from Leominster Register Office, and ask that WIlliam is down as a miller, and Ann his Widow,

 A William Hall was baptised at Brimfield, son of George and Mary HALL in January 1789.

William HALL married Ann James at Kingsland in October 1815, sorry that should read WIlliam Lawrence maried Ann james in 1815 at Kingsland.
