Census problem
« on: Sunday 29 July 07 14:40 BST (UK) »
A few weeks ago I'm sure I searched the census on Ancestry by area ie. White Waltham today I cannot find how?  I'm now begining to wonder if I did do this  or was it wishful thinking?

Someone put me out of my misery, please,
Abiam

You can go to the original records in a place, but the streets etc are not actually indexed in the Ancestry implementation - except for 1881, which they got coutesy of the LDS.

Go to the census required ie 1851

scroll to the bottom
click on Berkshire
Click on White Waltham
Click on the District number and the images will come up page by page

Repeat if there are more than 2 districts
