Hi.. please can anyone do a  1841 cnsus look up  for Robert and Hanna.. Alford.. possibly living Charlotte street bedminster.. they were both registered as having passed away at home in charlotte street.. 1845 and 1847.. don't know if that helps.. thankyou.. jui..

Hi jui,

Do you have any idea if Henry was married or what his occupation might have been?  There`s a couple of possiblities on the 1841, they`re not in Somerset but as that census does not give places of birth it`s difficult to say which, if any, is yours.

Hello..
     From Henrys  marriage  certificate (1846) he was a tanner..
his death certificate shows he was a labourer in tannery..
i know on the 1841 census he was not with his parents.. (they lived in bedminster.. )

Thankyou old Bristolian.. this is my Henry.. but .. as it so often happenend age mistranscribed.. although i sometimes wonder if "they" got the age correct when someone died.. still struggling with 1841 census.. thankyou again though..
