heehee...o.k. you three... ;D I vote the whole thing gets rescanned at a much higher res and we have another look...strokes can disappear  ;D

Could you give us a closer view, select the occupation panel only and give it a scan at a much higher d.p.i.?  J.

Trouble is this bloke died in 1840 and was 75  :-\

I was wondering if any of his children might have had the decency to marry after 1837 and had an obliging Registrar with clear handwriting for father's occupation  ::)
