You say you can't remember what census it was. Can you remember the parents's names and where they lived. We could then try to locate them again for you.

Sorry I can't remember the parents' names, but they would have been in the West Riding of Yorkshire.  The search was probably for John b1840 Denholme, William b1847 Keighley, James b1857 Horton/Bradford or Thomas b1860 Horton/Bradford.

Whoever we did find was incorrect though, so I'm not buying certificates to find out, I just thought it was a little strange.
