I am looking for details of the Barron Family who lived in Cumbernauld Village.

I particular I am looking for :-

John Barron born in Ireland and died between 1841 and 1851
His wife Mary (nee Shaw) died prior to 1841

Their children :-

Jean Barron died 1855
James Barron died 1857
John Barron died 1879
David Davidson Barron
Anne Barron
Robert Barron

Hi William, sorry I couldn't find your Barrons in the Vital Records Index, but there are extra children for John & Mary according to the IGI.
William - ch. 06 Sep 1795
Thomas - b. 14 Nov 1807, ch. 20 Dec 1807
Mary - ch. 05 Oct 1812, ch. 25 Oct 1812
George - b. 09 Jan 1815, ch. 29 Jan 1815
Alexander - b. 11 Apr 1817, ch. 27 Apr 1817.  All Cumbernauld, all from batch No. C114954

John and Mary had 11 children in total.

The death records of Jean (1855) and James (1857) show that they were buried in Cumbernauld Churchyard.  But on a visit there last year I was unable to find them.

I was hoping that there may have been a headstone for the family in the Churchyard that would have given me information regarding the deaths of John and Mary.
