Can you find Allmon SNELL in 1841 Census? Thanks to those who already tried....

Sometimes we just have to accept that people were left off the Census - I've got one in my family where I'm sure the head of the household was home, but he doesn't appear although his wife is given as "wife".

Just keep trying - it may be he's out there somewhere

Phillipa BONE is another mystery though as now it appears possible that BONE is her married name, not her maiden name.  And in 1841, 1851 it said that she was born in about 1795....

There is much confusion in this post itself on whether Phillippa married William BONE and had those other BONE children that are with them in the 1841 census.

So I am stumped...

You are not stumped!    I think the picture is fairly clear - it is just a question of proving it.  You must search the parish records to do that.   If you can prove that William Bone died and Phillipa remarried then you have it.  Get the film at your nearest LDS centre and go for it!
