I am trying to trace one of my brickwalls. Listed below is the information
I have on this person, hoping somebody will have some small snippitt of info.


Frederick Lewis ROBERTS born 1883 Sheffield, son of Lewis ROBERTS & Eliza LILL.
Lived at 5 Reed Street,Sheffield, between 1883 - 1901. at 17 Woodstock
Road,Sheffield 1901 - ?.


Moved to 30 Perry Road,South Benfleet sometime in the early 1900's. His
occupation on the 1901 census was as a Silversmith Chaser.

Which direction are you trying to go with him?
If back, have you got him on 1891 census? What other info have you got on him?

If forward - assumimg you have him in 1901 (is that how yuo found he had moved to Essex?) he was only 17 ish when he moved. Did his whole family move, or just him?

there are 2 possible marriages for him on freeBMD

April/May/Jun 1903 Bethnal Green to Ellen Elizabeth Gale or Mary Wilson

Oct/Nov/Dec 1907 West Ham to Beatrice Elizabeth johnson, Emily Letitia Sawle or Gladys Maud Sprosen

Do you know when his parents died? Did they leave wills? which may mention their son, and give an addressat teh time will was made, and then if he was an executor again when they died.

The info that I have is from a letter to my grandmother from Frederick in 1905 giving the address, in 1901 he was at home in Sheffield, see below
