Newspaper search

Hi,
could someone do me a favour the next time they go to the Bedford Record office?

Could they do a search in 2 newspapers for an obitiuary and a burial  notice.
The 2 newspapers are the :-
Bedford and Bedfordshire Mercury and the
Bedford and Bedfordshire Times.

I'm looking for a notice of death of a woman called Lydia HALLSWORTH aged 83 of Green End,Shillington,Beds .She died on the 4th November 1863.So the notice will obviously be around that time.
However she wasn't buried in Shillington.She was buried in Cranfield,Beds so there might be a seperate burial notice a few days later.

I'm  interested in the exact text.
Many thanks to anyone who can help me.I very much appreciate it as I can't get to the record office myself.

Have you tried contacting Bedford Library to check their obituary index.

Hi John ,
thanks  for the link.
I had a quick look and couldn't find anything about charges.I don't suppose  you know if if they charge for getting someone to look at it for  me as I can't get to Bedford Library.If it's available online is it free?Very inportant criteria for  me at the moment as I'm barrasic-lol

I don't know if they charge - why not check with Edmund !

Did you get anywhere from emailing the library ? or are you still waiting for information from this lookup ?

I totally forgot
I will send an email tonight when we've all had tea.
Good job you reminded me.(personally I think my brains giving up I have a nack  of forgetting things.I have to  write it down on a memo pad.Obviously forgot  to write it down so I didn't forget if you get my meaning-lol.)
