hello
my name is cathy. i started my family tree 2 years ago. i was lucky i found that my great great grandfather was born in guernsey about 1801. then i hit a brick wall. i was wondering if anyone could help me with information regarding my great great grandfather william lepoidvin born in guernsey. i believe he was from st. peter's port if that is possible. it would be a real thrill to know who his parents were. he came to canada before 1831 because i found record of his marriage to mary ann johnson in shigawake quebec in 1831.

i would be most grateful for any information
