You are the first person I know with anything near connected.

If you want anything my end, although I haven't come across Freiensner,
and if you have info you think will help my cause.

Hi Lesanne,

Here is my connection with the Craze family ...

1871

30 Morris St, St George in the East

Charles H Craze abt 1864  St George in the East, Middlesex, England Son
Mary Craze abt 1842  Whitechapel, Middlesex, England Wife
Mary Ann Craze abt 1868  St George in the East, Middlesex, England Daughter
Richard Craze abt 1841  St George in the East, Middlesex, England Head
Richard J Craze abt 1870  St George in the East, Middlesex, England Son
Sarah Craze abt 1859  St George in the East, Middlesex, England Daughter
Catherine Marley abt 1824  Whitechapel, Middlesex, England Wifes Mother

Mary Ann Craze married Henry Freiensener Jun 1885 at St George in the East.

Henry Freiensener is the brother of my GGmother Louisa Freiensener, see here http://webb-erickson.rootschat.net/erickson.htm

Richard Craze b. 1839 St George in the East parents William Craze and Sarah

Charles Wm Craze (yours???)  b. 1840 St George in the East parents Louis Craze and Mary.

As I say I haven't done much research on my Craze lot, though it looks like the two families (yours/mine) are related - have to dig to find out where.

I think the Craze families may have come from the West Country, but just family anecdote not confirmed yet.  What do you know of your lot?

As far as I know there is one one (or two) Craze (possibily related?) families in London at this time ...

It seems your Craze family were in 61 and 71 at least (haven't checked more) lived in Star Street and my Craze family lived in Morris Street.  About two minutes walk from each other  :)

Cheers
Jonathan

     8)  West country eh! Just got back from surfing the North Coast last week-end.

Had seen the Crazes, there, on sites, but, typical, didn't take to much into them.

Love it in Cornwall, perhaps this is why????
