Hello Cellan

There is a tree on ancestry regarding this family which suggests
When Mary Davies was born in 1882, her father, David, was 32, and her mother, Anne, was 31. She married David Glyn Jenkins in 1904. They had nine children in 20 years. She died in 1977 at the age of 95.
The 1901 census includes her familly prior to her  marriage residing at Mawr in the district of Pontadawe
The 1911 census  she resided at  Penrheol  Bettws Ammanford

If you require any more detail please let me know

Regards
Heddwch

Thank you, this confirms my hopes. My grandfather, John Ivor Jenkins, was born in Penyrheol I believe.

Hello Jennet, I am related to the Davieses of Ystradcathan farm. David Davies was my great great grandfather, his daughter Mary (b 1882) was my great grandmother. I remember her from when I was a little boy. They both lived in Llansawel before moving to the area. Do you know anything about their past?
Regards,
Cellan.
