Thanks; have checked. There seem to have been 16 families living in Garrett's Buildings; the addresses either side are Wades Yard and Alexandra Court, if this means anything?

No number 2 Christchurch St.

I just checked the post office postcode database, which confirms that there's a 2A, but not a 2 in Christchurch St, Ipswich.

Thanks folks. I'm not having much luck with my Ipswich houses! Maybe someone will be able to get a snap of the Leiston or Lowestoft addresses?

Does anyone know of any web sites with photos of old streets in Ipswich?
