Could some one give my Gt Grandfather a wash and brush up please. Not sure when this picture was taken but he died in 1931

it possibly dates from the  1st ww period or just after. His cap badge looks like it is the lamb and flag of the Queens Royal (West Surrey) Regiment.

thnak you Rowley - I had my suspisions about the regiment and the date thank you for confirming them - I do have a "younger" photo of him which dates circ 1918 this must have been a bit later - he his wearing the cap bagde in both
