1915 Hobart burial

I am looking for the burial of an Ancestor, John Maddison died 20th Aug 1915 while living at 18 Turner st Hobart. He is not buried at Cornelian Bay although another JM is died 1914. Can anyone give me any suggestions on how to find his burial place? It isn't on his death certificate & his 2nd wife's name was Ellen Thornton died 29-11-1910 (Ellen Maddison.)

Hi Mike

I hope you are not going to make a practice of having folks buried before they die     

but have you checked with the cemetery folks as to whether there is an error in the date. They may be able to advise as to where else you could look. I have folks buried at Rokeby (Clarence Plains) - St Matthews who died in Hobart.

I'll try not to keep burying people before their time  I'll get in touch with Cornelian Bay & suss out who that John Maddison's wife etc was.
