i am looking james walter john eves i have him on 1891/1901 census but not before have marriage lines for james in 1889 farther listed as john eves a seafairing captain but cant find him any where . also cant find james birth said he was from strood kent  thanks for any help

hi james was born in 1864 in stroud ? on the 1891 on 1901 calls him self walter born in strood married a alice anne wisdom in 1889 in shoreditch middlesex had three children alfred ada william
eves/eve/ellmer/ elmer/wisdom/isted/stead/page/forster/scott/young/

do you have his birth reference?

i cannot find a James Walter John Eves on Freebmd

i have done a phonetic search of the surname and this is the closest:
Walter James Epps b. Jun Qtr 1869 Canterbury  2a 649

Have you found Alice on earlier censuses?

the witnesses where alice robins ,henry john rean i think that what it says have all of alice from birth to death ect plus her family

Is the 1901 census the last sighting you have of James?

Did James die before Alice?

I've checked the censuses & birth index without any luck.

What about Walter John EVES birth registered in the North Aylesford registration district December quarter 1863 ref. 2a 345 ???
