HAWKSWORTH family - staffs

Hello,

I'm looking for any information regarding the Hawksworth family.
I've traced back to William Hawksworth (my ggg grandfather) born approx 1821 in Derbyshire who was married to Elizabeth (Maiden name not known). In 1861 there were living in Tittensor, Staffs and my gg grandfather Frederick was 9. He married Maria Bentley in 1874.

My g granfather was also called Frederick and was married to Monica Theresa McConnell (died 1927) They had 3 children - Gerald?, Philip Frederick (died 2004) and my grandmother Betty.

I would like to here from anyone who has any further information particularly regarding my grandmothers 2 brothers. We also believe that my grandmothers father (Frederick) remarried after the death of his wife Monica Theresa but we haven't been able to find any records

I think these are William's parents and siblings as the IGI has,

Father:  David HAWKESWORTH 
Mother:  Sarah 


This looks like your GG Grandfather's birth registration if you wanted to get the cert. to find out Elizabeth's maiden name.

Hi Madfan,
Just found your post re William H. He was my GG Grandfather and married on 28-03-1840 Elizabeth Poyser bJan1820 d Bromsgrove 25-01-1905.

I have further info on both and a tree from 1799 thro to 2008 re Hawksworth and later Hawkesworth thro Fredericks brother John b07-11-1847

Do you have a complete tree of Frederick b25-08-1874 ?

Since my original post last year I have realised that I had the wrong Frederick. My g grandfather Frederick was the son of Mary Hawksworth (Sister to John b 1847, daughter to William and Elizabeth). Mary married a Thomas Hawksworth (b 1859 son to Thomas and Mary).
