Hi
Sangate is part of Folkestone, along the coast between Folkestone and Hythe. I live in the area and will see if I can find out some more information for you.

John James JONES was the proprietor of the Grosvenor House Convalescent Home for consumptive patients on The Esplanade, Sandgate in 1903.

There was more than one convalescent home in Sandgate and this one isn't to be confused with the Alfred Bevan Memorial Home (also known as Beach Rocks) as far as I can tell.
