Thanks Sue, much appreciated, that looks like the Aaron Tovey I've been tracking and maybe a possibility why MaryA felt he was not part of the household on 1841C.  Could his parents have died?

Can I ask you to locate Charles Tovey & family on the 1901C?
Ref of 1891C entry RG12/1973/25/10

Although ages are rounded down to the nearest 5 on the 1841 census, I still felt it unlikely that Joseph and Caroline would have had a 10 year old son, besides the / between the names tends to mean that although they are living in the same dwelling, they may well be part of a different family.

I don't see Aaron and Ruth anywhere although it's a little difficult with a name that can be mistranscribed so easily.  I would suggest that you see if you can get a look up for the burial registers for the area and see whether you can find any deaths.

Well done Sue.

I bet Aaron had some siblings, Joseph could just about fit in after Aaron and Ruth's marriage as their eldest child?

Hi Roy,

I`ve been poking around on the indexes and have found some possibilities for the parents and siblings of Aaron (Snr) and Ruth.  Would you like the details?
