Just found this in one of his discharge papers....

Service during WW1 - Archibald Frater
========================================
12/10/14 - Jan 1915 = Home
Jan 1915 - July 1916 = France
July 1916 - 1917 = Home
March 1918 - Jan 1920 = Prisoner of War (Germany)
He was discharged in 1920 with Schrapnel Wounds to the face, Right Knee, Right Hand, obtained in France in July 191 due to active service.
