Missing grandparents. Looking for any information about Bessie Ellen Praul or Prall married to George Swithenbank late 1880's believed from Jersey.
Can anyone help ?

Sorry. I was never given any dates, but I understand George was a professional soldier

Its virtually impossible to trace them without further details.  I have checked the 1891 and 1901 for a George Swithenbank and Bessie  Ellen or Elizabeth.

As he was a soldier they could be anywhere,    Have you looked for thier marriage.

Bessie is usually short for Elizabeth, perhaps you should try and find thier births.

I've found this marriage, but it's quite a bit later than you thought, unless 'late 1880s' was the birthdate
