2nd Markethill Presbyterian - Moffatt family

Hi there...

Does anyone have access to the records of the 2nd Markethill Presbyterian church? Looking for records pertaining to the Moffatt family, know that Robert Moffatt married Agnes Hainey(Heaney) here 9 Jun 1872, both were weavers by occupation, child James born in Markethill 8 May 1873, possibly sons William and Robert as well.  Any information greatly appreciated

By chance are you researching the Moffat's? If so, I have a letter written to James here in Canada in 1946 from a Wm. W. Moffat of Bangor....will share it with you...just let me know.

I most definitely will....!! I will send you a copy of this letter...if documents the Moffat/Moffet (various spellings) history and mentions many names and dates....I'm certain you would find it interesting....I will forward it to you later today.....
